Position: Resource Teacher <p>Location: Rorketon School <p>Start Date: As soon as possible<p>FTE: .50 FTE <p>Term of Employment: Term from September 3, 2024 to June 27, 2025<p>Application Deadline: Open Until Filled<p> <p> <p>The<p>Division provides a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits,<p>transportation and moving expense reimbursement, subsidized housing or<p>housing allowance and isolation allowance in qualifying communities,<p>annual travel reimbursement, reimbursement for approved courses and<p>more! <p>Rorketon School is a Kindergarten to Grade 12 school approximately 3 hours northwest of Winnipeg and 1 hour northeast of Dauphin. The school has a student population of 91 students with a teaching staff of 7 and 15 support staff members.<p>Qualifications: <p><p><p> Bachelor of Education degree and preferably a Masters? Degree in Education or related field<p> Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)<p> Manitoba Inclusive Education certificate or certification in progress<p> At least five years of teaching experience <p> Previous experience as a Resource Teacher<p> Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life<p> Excellent understanding of current Manitoba curricula and differentiated instruction<p> Knowledge and training in formal and informal assessment<p> Familiar with appropriate educational programming<p> Ability to complete provincial documentation requirements for appropriate educational programming <p> Ability to interpret educational and cognitive assessments<p> Willingness to be trained in intervention programs presently in place <p> A commitment to continue to support on-going programs in the school<p> Strong verbal and written communication skills<p><p><p> Applicants are required to submit the following:<p><p> cover letter<p> current resume<p> list of<p> three professional references including contact numbers, all of whom<p> must have knowledge of the applicant?s performance in the applicant?s<p> current or recent assignment<p><p> <p> <p><p>Thank you for your interest; however, only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted. <p>By applying, you consent to the Division contacting your references.
