WorleyCord Teamco Ltd., a subsidiary of WorleyCord Lp., is seeking: *Journeyperson/Apprentice Ironworkers* To work at our *Blackfalds Modular Yard* in the *Blackfalds area* *SALARY*: Up to $46.50 per hour *OVERTIME*: After 40 hours in a week *TRAVEL: *Local Position ? No travel *START DATE: *ASAP *SCHEDULE*: 5 days on, 2 days off *HOURS PER DAY: *10 hours per day *PAY SCHEDULE: *Weekly Pay (Friday) *SHIFT*: Dayshift *ACCOMODATIONS:* Local Position *DURATION*: Ongoing *WORK SCOPE: *Modular Yard *Working Conditions:* Full-time, Temporary Employee benefits provided by OpenCircle Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions *Requirements:* * A valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Certification from a recognized provincial training authority. * CSTS 2020 Certification * WHMIS2015 * ESC Elevated Work Platform * ESC Fall Protection * Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision * Previous industrial construction experience is an asset *Responsibilities:* * Fabricates structural steel, ornamental work and pre-cast structures on a variety of projects. * Studies blueprints, drawing and specifications to determine the lay out of work. * Position steel units, align holes and insert temporary bolts while checking alignments and joining steel parts using simple torque and hand wrenches. * Attach cables from a crane and direct crane operators with hand signals and/ or radio. * Unload and stack steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed * Know, understand, and operate grinders safely in accordance with safe work practices and procedures * Ability to recognize spool hoisting point and utilize proper rigging techniques and signals while working in a fast-paced environment * May perform other duties as assigned * Complete all required safety documentation * Working at heights and outdoors Job Type: Full-time Pay: $27.90-$46.50 per hour Expected hours: 50 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Schedule: * 10 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Overtime Ability to commute/relocate: * Blackfalds, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * Ironworking: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: * Journeyperson or Apprentice certificate (required) Work Location: In person- LocationBlackfalds, AB
