Russell Hendrix is looking for a Shipper/Receiver to join our manufacturing team, Quest Metal Works, in *Winnipeg*. You?ll be an essential part of the teams? operations. We offer competitive compensation packages, comprehensive benefits, ongoing training and development opportunities, as well as opportunities for growth and advancement within the company. *What You?ll Do:* * Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking. * Prepare and schedule shipments as assigned. * Confirm quantities of goods received and receive in the system. * Safely and efficiently crate products. * Schedule daily transportation needs with different carriers/couriers. * Oversee the secure and accurate loading and unloading of deliveries. * Track shipments and verify receipts of shipments as required. * Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies. * Sort and distribute incoming shipments. * Perform quality audits of the condition of shipped goods for both incoming and outgoing items prior to signing off. * Ensure that shipments contain proper documentation and if multiple items per shipment, ensure item lists are complete. * Problem-solve for any cases of missing documents, shipments and deliveries * Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area (including binning system) * Contribute to a healthy and safe workplace. * Adhere to all company policies and procedures. *Desired Skills and Experience:* * You have a high school diploma. * You are an effective communicator, both verbally and written. * You have working knowledge of safe packing methods. * You have demonstrated experience in the operation of material handling equipment, including forklift truck. * You are technically proficient, with working experience in Excel, e-mail, and WMS. * You are organized, with excellent time management and prioritizing skills. * You have a high attention to detail and pride yourself on accuracy in all areas of your work. * You work well both in a team, and independently. * You have a strong work ethic, and a positive team attitude. *What?s In It for You: * * On the job training. * Extended health benefits. * $400 per year gym subsidy. * Dynamic work environment. * Excellent employee discount. * Paid volunteer leave. * Opportunity for growth. _Russell Hendrix is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of Any Kind: Russell Hendrix is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment._ #INDMP Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Store discount * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person- LocationWinnipeg, MB
