Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Various locations. General office. Tasks: Assist manager in the implementation of safety programs. Evaluate safety programs. Plan safety programs. Provide information/training to employers, employees and general public. Inspect to ensure that safe working conditions are maintained. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. Type of inspection: New and existing buildings. Transportation/travel information: Vehicle supplied by employer. Valid driver's licence. Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
