Ironwrights Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder/fitter to join our team in the Quinte area. As a locally owned and operated corporation dedicated to providing top-notch services in Millwrighting, Welding, Fabrication, Structural Steel Erections, and Miscellaneous Metal Work, we are looking for a dedicated individual to contribute to our growing company. Job Summary: As a Welder/Fitter at Ironwrights Inc., you will be responsible for fabricating and fitting metal components according to blueprints and schematics. You will work on various projects that involve ductwork, machining, and utilizing hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently. Responsibilities: - Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications - Fabricate metal components using welding techniques such as plasma cutting - Fit and assemble structural components using press brake machines - Utilize hand tools, power tools, and crane equipment as needed - Ensure precision and quality in all fabricated parts - Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines - Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times Skills: - Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics - Experience with machining and fabricating metal components - Competency in using hand tools, power tools, and crane equipment - Knowledge of ductwork systems and press brake machines - Familiarity with plasma cutting techniques - Ability to work effectively in a team environment *Employment Requirements:* - Extensive experience in welding stainless and aluminum and structural metals - Proficient in using a variety of tools and equipment - Familiarity with safety procedures in a workshop setting - Strong attention to detail and precision in work - Ability to follow instructions accurately Join Ironwrights Inc. and be part of a dynamic team that values craftsmanship, dedication, and innovation.
