*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled gas technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be helping maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings. We also sell, service and maintain fireplaces. Experience or willingness to learn about fireplaces is an assett. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret schematics. *Responsibilities* * Rig and fabricate metal components according to specifications. * Utilize hand tools to complete projects. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. * Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues. * Ensure all fittings meet industry standards. * Service gas fireplaces. * Assist with installation of gas fireplaces, wood burning fireplaces, air conditioners, propane tanks. * Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems. * Troubleshoot HVAC systems to identify issues and implement solutions. * Maintain accurate records of work performed. * Conduct inspections and tests to ensure compliance with safety regulations. *Experience* * Proven experience in the field is preferred. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings. * Knowledge of appliance repair and mechanical systems. * Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. * Familiarity with safety regulations in a manufacturing or construction environment is a plus. * Knowledge of gas and wood burning fireplaces an asset, but willing to train.
