Tasks: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise workers and projects. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units. Supervision: Electricians. 3-4 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Industrial Electrician Red Seal Certificate. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Attention to detail. Ability to distinguish between colours. Fast-paced environment. Manual dexterity. Physically demanding. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Accurate. Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Flexibility. Judgement. Organized. Reliability. Team player.
