*Full Time Machinist required * *JOB DESCRIPTION:* Tecumseh Industries Ltd is currently seeking a Full Time Machinist The successful candidate will operate two or more production machines working from blueprints, sketches, and route sheets. Work with general guidance in a safe team environment. *Company offers competitive wages, benefits & a safe work environment. * *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:* Building parts as per drawings, mark-up drawings as required, to indicate updates. Operate manual machining equipment. Fabricate, erect, install and maintain facility machinery. Troubleshooting and repairing facility machinery under the direction Shop Manager. Safety Responsibilities and General Shop Labor as Assigned. *SKILLS & COMPETENCIES* * Demonstrates effective verbal and written skills along with the ability to work in a team environment * Able to operate manual machining equipment * Strong organizational skills * Ability to operate the required equipment in a safe and responsible manner * Strong time management skills to ensure that all deliverables are met in an efficient manner * Able to read and follow blueprints, specifications, and verbal instructions. * Ability to lift at least 30 pounds is required * Must demonstrate manual dexterity and a willingness to learn. * *EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE* * High School Diploma * machining experience preferred *WORKING CONDITIONS *Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Extended hours are often required during peak operating seasons. When operating machinery, individuals are required to use safety equipment including but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, steel toed work boots & hard hats.
