*Overview* We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. As a Pet Groomer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the appearance and health of our furry clients while delivering outstanding customer service to their owners. *Duties* * Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes. * Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques and products. * Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use. * Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets? grooming needs, preferences, and any concerns observed during the grooming process. * Handle pets safely and comfortably, employing techniques that minimize stress for both the animal and the owner. * Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing any inquiries or feedback regarding services offered. * Assist in lifting larger pets as needed, ensuring safety for both the groomer and the animal during the grooming process. *Qualifications* * Proven experience as a Pet Groomer or in a related field is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided for the right candidate. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. * Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting when necessary, as well as standing for extended periods during grooming sessions. * Knowledge of various dog and cat breeds, grooming styles, and appropriate care techniques is an asset. * A compassionate attitude towards animals with a commitment to their safety and comfort during grooming procedures. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
