Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Dusty. Cold/refrigerated. Odours. Noisy. Work setting: Fish plant. Tasks: Minimize hazards at all stages of the food production process. Prepare production and other reports. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Supervision: Fish plant workers. Labourers in fish processing. Process control and machine operators, food and beverage processing. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. Food specialties: Fish and seafood. Area of work experience: Quality assurance or control. Type of industry experience: Shipping line. Specialization or experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail.
