Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Noisy. Dusty. Confined spaces. Outdoors. All weather conditions. Work setting: Installation. Service. On-site fabrication. Residential. Industrial. Construction. Tasks: Fit and join sheet metal parts. Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes. Operate forklift. Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs. Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment. Clean work area. Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools. Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping and other application and installation methods. Install sheet metal flashings. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification. Forklift Operator Certification. Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools. Drills. Area of work experience: Metal cutting. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Handling heavy loads. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Safety glasses/goggles. Gloves. Hard hat. Safety equipment/gear. Safety vest.
