*Job Overview* Goldkey Collision Center is seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Body repair and mechanical knowledge, with experience in using both hand and power tools. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. *Please Note: *people with experience with Bodyshop work experience will be considered all other will be deleted and not contacted. *Responsibilities* * Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs. * Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform bodywork, including welding, sanding, and painting. * Replace or repair damaged body parts according to manufacturer specifications. * Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles post-repair to ensure quality standards are met. * Collaborate with other technicians and staff to maintain an efficient workflow in the shop. * Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. * Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automotive repair techniques. *Qualifications* * Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role in automotive repair. * Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools. * Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs. * Familiarity with dealership standards is a plus but not mandatory. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. * A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to automotive repair are advantageous.
