*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled HVAC / Refrigeration Technician to join our team in the _*Fort McMurray area. Shift - Two Weeks In Two weeks Out*_ The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair refrigeration units efficiently. This role requires a hands-on approach to maintaining and building refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. *Responsibilities* * Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and HVAC equipment. * Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues accurately. * Perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or installations. * Conduct routine maintenance checks on refrigeration units to ensure proper functioning. * Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions. * Plumb and connect refrigeration lines according to specifications. * Repair or replace faulty components in refrigeration systems, including compressors, evaporators, and condensers. * Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding service needs and recommendations. *Qualifications* * Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role in HVAC or appliance repair. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to build and maintain complex systems. * Familiarity with safety protocols related to refrigeration systems. * Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. * Proficient in welding techniques relevant to refrigeration repairs. * Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
