<p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p> <p>Tundra Process Solutions is currently seeking a <strong>Field Valve Technician -</strong> based out of our <strong>Edmonton </strong>Branch. Do you eat, sleep and breathe valves in various varieties? Are you a self-starter that has the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the fly? If yes, then you might just be who we're looking for.</p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <ul> <li>Field servicing of Ball and Gate Valves</li> <li>Repairs and inspections of Choke and Control Valves</li> <li>On-site and over the phone/email troubleshooting for clients</li> <li>Repair of ESD Valves and Components</li> <li>In-house repairs to Manifold Valves, Actuators and ANSI Valves</li> <li>Run lead on the Tundra Service Truck in Grande Prairie - this includes maintenance, upkeep and applicable paperwork</li> <li>Pressure Testing</li> <li>Forklift Operations</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>The Candidate</strong></p> <ul> <li>At least 2+ years of industry experience in the Oil and Gas Sector</li> <li>Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with clients via phone or email</li> <li>Able to work independently, as well as part of a team</li> <li>Lives Tundra Core Values</li> <li>Experience in pressure testing is preferred</li> <li>Valid Forklift Operations Ticket</li> <li>Experience and training in both Hoisting and Rigging</li> <li>Small Crane Certificate is an asset</li> <li>Valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract</li> <li>Must be local to the Grande Prairie area or willing to relocate</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>The Company </strong></p> <p>Our BIG goal is to be the most trusted supplier of industrial process equipment in Western Canada - and we believe that we have the best people, manufacturing partners, products, and capabilities to get us there!
