We are currently seeking an Electric Motor Rewind Technician in Saint John, NBThe Key Responsibilities will include:Troubleshooting and repairing large AC & DC electric rotating equipment with random or form wound stators, rotors or armaturesTest repair motors to ensure proper repair and performanceTroubleshoot and find root cause on failed equipmentOn the job training will be providedOther duties as requiredRequirements:Mechanical or electrical background with knowledge of AC and DC electric motorsMust be able to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings Must be able to understand and use test equipment and instruments required to perform preliminary, intermediate, and final tests.Knowledge of other electro-mechanical rotating equipment, including pumps, would be considered an assetIn return for the above, we are offering a permanent position on an established team in a great working environment.All full-time positions offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:Competitive Pay Scale Flexible Health, Drug and Dental PlanMatching Contribution Retirement Savings PlanLife and Disability Insurance OptionsConfidential Employee Assistance ProgramService Awards ProgramEnhanced Vacation EntitlementPhysical Fitness Refund PlanSource Atlantic is an equal opportunity employer.
