Educational Assistant Location: Don Campbell Elementary 30 hours weeklyNovember 1, 2024 to February 16, 2025 Temporary position replacing a leave of absenceThe successful applicant will provide behavioural support to students in grades K-5.Desirable qualifications and attributes:Educational Assistant Certificate or comparable education is an asset.Ability to work with students who have special education needs and behaviour challenges.Candidate would ideally have experience working with Autism and complex needsComfortable working independently, with minimal guidance.Good problem solving skills.Toileting and lifting may be requiredFor more information about the Red Deer Public School District, visit our website at: www.rdpsd.ab.caThis competition will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
