Please note the successful candidate will work out of our Vancouver office a minimum of 2 days/week. *Why FunctionAbility?* * *Signing Bonus ? up to $2500* * *Relocation Bonus (if applicable)* * *Autonomy over schedule and flexibility allowing for work-life balance* * *Stability of working with a company with over 20 years experience* * *Education Funding* * *Self-directed funding for mental health, wellness and/or retirement* *savings funding!* * *Billing App to allow you to bill and dictate notes while in the community* * Paid Staff Meetings * Paid monthly Supervision * Extended Health and Dental Benefits + Employee and Family Assistance Program * Strong administrative/clinical/IT support * Exciting company events (including our wonderful annual Retreat!) * Career Advancement Opportunities *What is a day in the life of an FA Clinical Counsellor?* * You will provide assessment, counselling and psychotherapy, using a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Internal Family Systems, EFT, etc.) to individuals (including children/adolescents), couples and families who have experienced trauma, traumatic injury, grief and loss, difficult life stressors and transitions, and who are looking for a safe, compassionate and trusting therapeutic relationship to support mental health and well-being. * You will interface with the medical, legal and insurance systems * You will advocate for and help clients connect with community-based resources that would improve their psychosocial circumstances and well-being * You will monitor, evaluate, and record client progress according to measurable goals described in treatment and care plans * You will provide detailed, comprehensive reports as part of the medical-legal system * You will maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational days; training sessions, and establishing personal networks *What do you need to be successful?* * You have a Master?s Degree or Doctorate in Psychology, Psychiatry, Social Work or Clinical Counselling with a minimum of 2 years clinical experience * You are a member in good standing with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) * You have 2 years experience supporting clients in return-to-work contexts * You are client-centered and enjoy collaborating with a multidisciplinary team * You have strong verbal/written communication skills and have the ability to work with different personalities * You use good judgement and apply critical thinking when making client decisions * You have a valid Driver?s License and access to a vehicle #IndeedO Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50.00-$70.00 per hour Additional pay: * Signing bonus Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Dental care * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Flexible schedule * Life insurance * Wellness program * Work from home Education: * Master's Degree (required) Experience: * Clinical: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: * BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) (required) * Driver's license and Vehicle (required) Work Location: In person- LocationVancouver, BC
