Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Tasks: Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.). Design settings, scenic environments, costumes and lighting. Exhibit designers plan and develop permanent and temporary or moveable exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces and other exhibitions. Exhibit and display design experience: Ceremonial. Merchandising or window. Art or fashion design experience: Set or stage design. Accessories. Day or office wear. Women's clothing. Children's clothing. Area of specialization: Clothing. Personal suitability: Accurate. Client focus. Dependability. Flexibility. Initiative. Judgement. Organized. Reliability. Team player.
