*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. The Cook will be responsible for preparing delicious meals while ensuring food safety and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. *Duties* - Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards - Assist in all areas of food preparation as needed - Ensure proper handling and storage of food - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area - Monitor food stock and place orders when needed - Collaborate with the kitchen team to provide excellent dining experiences *Experience* - Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred - Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques - Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 ? 35 per week Benefits: * Discounted or free food * Flexible schedule * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Weekends as needed Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Experience: * Cooking: 2 years (required) Language: * English (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Food Handler Certification (preferred) * Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationStrathroy, ON
