Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Women's shelter. Rural area. Tasks: Administrative and office activities. Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). Mental health first aid Certificate. Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate. First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Area of work experience: Community service organization. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Child Abuse Registry check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Accurate.
