*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include assisting with medication preparation, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals. *Responsibilities* * Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. * Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and restocking medications and supplies. * Assist customers in selecting or ordering front shop items. * Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions. * Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations, policies, and procedures. *Skills* * Previous experience using Kroll Pharmacy Dispensing software in an asset. * Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in a retail setting is preferred. * Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care. * Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare providers effectively. * Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in medication preparation and documentation. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
