As we expand our team, we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our dynamic workforce. *Position Overview:* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with the ability to perform a variety of tasks related to building and renovation projects. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. *Responsibilities:* -Follow construction plans and schedules -Read and interpret blueprints, plumbing / mech/electrical drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements -Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials -Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moldings and hardware -Assist with carpentry projects, organize, use necessary tools, nailers, saws, etc. -Maintain a professional calm, willing, positive relationship with coworkers and sub trades -Work with sub trades for back framing and as needed -Work on a variety of tasks as a team and be able to work independently without supervision *Qualifications:* * Proven experience as a carpenter. * Strong understanding of overall construction practices and processes. * Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment. * Ability to interpret blueprints and project specifications. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Physical ability and ability to work in various weather conditions. * Strong communication and collaboration skills. *Requirements:* * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. *Benefits:* * Competitive salary based on experience. * Health, dental, and vision insurance options.
