Sondhi Defence is a dynamic boutique law firm specializing in real estate transactions and real estate law. We pride ourselves on our client-centered approach and commitment to excellence. *Position Overview:* We are seeking a skilled Real Estate Lawyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in real estate law and a strong understanding how to complete conveyancing and mortgage transactions. This is an in-person role based in our Aurora office. *Key Responsibilities:* * Advise clients on real estate transactions including purchases, sales, mortages, leases and financing * Drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents * Conducting due diligence and assist in title examinations * Represent clients in negotiations and resolve disputes as necessary * Assist with trust account reconcillation enquiries * Notorization and commision of documentation * Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting real estate *Qualifications:* * Law Degree from an accredited law school. * Licensed to practice law in Ontario * Experience in real estate law preferred * Exeperience with Unity, Teraview and Google Suite is preferred * Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment *What We Offer:* * Competitive salary * Supportive work environment * Opportunity to gain valuable experience in real estate law and real estate litigation Job Type: Full-time Additional pay: * Commission pay * Retention bonus Benefits: * Paid time off Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-01-01- LocationAurora, ON
