Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Recommend measures to improve productivity . Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise workers and projects. Co-ordinate and schedule activities. Estimate costs and materials. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Pick orders and stock. Maintain inventory of equipment. Order parts and maintain inventory. Identify, label and catalogue items received. Organize and maintain inventory. Supervision: Heavy duty equipment mechanics. Technical experience: Warehouse and storage facilities. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding.
