*About the Opportunity:*
We are seeking a skilled carpenter with 4-5 years of proven experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with various carpentry materials and a solid understanding of carpentry techniques, installation, and construction methods. Proficiency in using both electrical and manual tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.) is essential. The ability to read technical documents and drawings is required. *Responsibilities:*
* Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements
* Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
* Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material according to measurements
* Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
* Lay out flooring, roofing, or drywall ensuring they are leveled and compatible
* Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance
* Build scaffolding and other construction structures
* Cut, fabricate, and install wooden and other structures according to specifications
* Working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructure and products
* Contribute to the construction and maintenance of strong and long-lasting buildings and products
*Requirements:*
* 4-5 years proven experience as a carpenter.
* Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials.
* Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
* Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.)
* Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
* Commitment to following safety guidelines.
* Valid Class 5 Driver?s Licence with a clean Driver's Abstract and Criminal Clearance.
* Strong time management, critical thinking, and active listening skills.
* Reliable and punctual with great hand dexterity and attention to detail.
* Good knowledge of wood properties and other materials.
* Ability to follow directions and make sound judgments.
