We are seeking a dedicated and organized Receptionist/Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer support and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor, making them the first point of contact for clients and visitors.
*Duties*
* Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
* Provide basic information to clients and the public
* Obtain and process information required to provide customer service
* Operate switchboard or telephone system
* Order office supplies
* Record and relay information
* Schedule and confirm appointments
* Send invoices
* Maintain work records and logs
* Receive and issue payments
* Perform clerical duties, such as filing and sorting and distributing mail
* Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
* Arrange teleconferences
* Provide directory assistance
* Perform data entry
* Perform basic bookkeeping tasks
* Perform receptionist duties
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as a receptionist or in a clerical role is preferred.
* Familiarity with office management procedures and basic computer skills is essential.
* Proficiency in Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, etc.) is required.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with clients and team members.
* Experience with phone systems and customer support is highly desirable.
* Attention to detail for proofreading documents is crucial.
* A professional appearance and demeanor are expected at all times.
