*Job Description: *General day-to-day electrical and fire alarm maintenance and installation primarily for local school board. Scheduled hours are afternoon/evening shift required. *Location: *General area of service mostly Halton. *About our Company: *As a family run business, Integrity Fire and Control Systems Inc. is an electrical contractor that specializes in fire protection. We are currently seeking a electrician to join our electrical division. *Educational requirements:* * Licensed Electrician 309A * Post-secondary in electrical is an asset. *General requirements:* * Strong ability to do service work * Have experience with on demand service work. * Fault isolate and restore power and lighting circuits. * Troubleshoot and repair all types of lighting fixtures. * Troubleshoot and repair contactors and starters. * Install new outlets , switches and other devices. * Install lighting of all types. * Capable of doing conduit work . * Confident use of drills and other power tools. * Able to use aerial lift platforms, ladders and is comfortable working at heights. * Able to communicate well with customers to ensure we are completing work as requested. * Able to work with and train electrical apprentices. * Must work well with others. * Able to write work orders and other site reports. * Must be clean and presentable. * Work must be detail orientated and well organized. * Clear verbal and written communication skills. * Confident use of computers, specifically Microsoft Excel and Word. * Excellent work safety record, conscious of a safe working environment. * Some work may require heavy lifting. *Skills that are an asset:* * Knowledge of fire alarm and emergency lighting. * WHIMIS, Lock-out tag-out, fall arrest, first aid are all assets. *Other requirements:* * Have a valid G level drivers license. * Valid police check will be required upon hiring. *What we offer:* * Company vehicle * Competitive wages. * Positive work environment. * Uniforms provided. * All tools except personal hand tools provided. * Ongoing training and support. * Continuing opportunity for growth and advancement. *How to apply*: Please send your resume and cover letter attached in a response to this ad Job Type: Full-time Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Company car Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday Licence/Certification: * Driving Licence (required) * Electrician License 309A (required) Work Location: In person- LocationBurlington, ON
