Support substitutes are called to work on an as needed basis, at any of our schools. <p>You must be available to work throughout the 2024-2025 school year, be accessible by telephone and internet, and provide your own transportation. Interviews will be held in person or via Zoom on an as needed basis. <p>Successful candidates will posses: <p><p> Positive references <p> Outstanding interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills<p> Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills<p> Ability to keep up-to-date with changing technology<p> Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with a team of educational professionals <p> Understanding of and commitment to supporting learning initiatives<p> Ability to work with other staff members to create a positive, safe, and optimal learning environment<p> Capacity to establish a rapport with students<p><p> Education/Experience: <p>Receptionist<p><p> High school diploma<p> Office administration coursework considered an asset<p> Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications<p><p>Learning Commons Facilitator<p><p> High school diploma<p> Diploma or undergraduate degree in Library Information Technology program, or related field considered an asset<p> Previous office and library experience<p><p>Support Substitute Expectations: <p><p> There is no minimum day availability required to be a support substitute (Receptionist/Learning Commons Facilitator) with Rocky View Schools<p> There is no minimum geographical area required<p><p>Pre-employment Requirements <p><p> The successful candidate(s) must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of the start of your employment<p> Proof of qualifications/education as required by the position<p><p>Open to: Internal and External applicants<p>How to Apply <p>We request all applications be placed through http://rockyview.simplication.com/.
