*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of medical terminology and medication administration, along with a passion for helping others in a hospital or clinical setting. *Responsibilities* * Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. * Maintain an organized inventory of medications and supplies, ensuring proper storage conditions. * Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications. * Process prescription orders, including verifying patient information and medication details. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. * Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and storage requirements. * Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining records, filing documents, and managing pharmacy equipment. * Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. *Requirements* * Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. * Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration practices is essential. * Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff. * Attention to detail and accuracy in handling prescriptions and patient information. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure. * A commitment to providing high-quality patient care within a hospital or clinical setting is essential.
