*Job Overview* We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team for Sunday's. We are an Organic Salon and Spa in Midtown. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and possess a keen eye for hair styling trends. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful hairstyles while ensuring a welcoming and positive experience for all clients. *Responsibilities* * Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to individual client needs. * Sanitate all tools and workstations according to health and safety regulations to maintain a clean environment. * Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and offer professional advice on hair care and styling options. * Assist with front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and managing client records. * Engage in retail sales by recommending and upselling hair care products that complement the services provided. * Maintain an organized workspace and ensure all supplies are stocked and readily available. * Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products to provide clients with current options. *Qualifications* * Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations. * Proven experience in hair styling, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members. * Experience in retail sales is a plus, particularly in upselling beauty products. * Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed. * A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to continuously learn new techniques.
