Residential. Level of expertise: Maintenance and repair. Tasks: Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites. Supervise other workers. Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments. Supervision: 3-4 people. Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel. Travel expenses paid by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
