We are looking for a person with a positive attitude who has good customer service skills and experience working in pharmacy. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications and maintaining patient records. Hourly pay is negotiable based on pharmacy experience. Daily Tasks: * Greet and Serve every patient that comes into the pharmacy, answering any simple questions about the prescriptions and payments. * Preparing prescriptions to be filled via Nexxsys software * Processing, adjudicating, dispensing, and filling prescriptions * Gathering patient information such as insurance etc. quickly and efficiently * Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant * Cashing people out and maintaining the till. * Basic math skills. * Help customers find non-prescription items * Provide patients with non-drug product information * Maintaining strict confidentiality and ethical standards * Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Ability to manage changing priorities * Ability to work independently and as a member of a team * Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills * Strong organizational and time-management skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 ? 40 per week Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Discounted or free food * Flexible schedule * On-site parking * Store discount Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday Experience: * pharmacy: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person- LocationPeterborough, ON
