*Summary* *We are growing and need you! *As an Automotive Service Technician, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge and expertise in automotive repair to perform maintenance and repair tasks efficiently. Join our team and showcase your diverse skill set in a dynamic automotive repair environment. *Responsibilities:* - Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned - Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with vehicles - Conduct inspections and testing of vehicle systems and components - Complete necessary repairs, including but not limited to engine repairs, brake repairs, and electrical system repairs - Weld and assemble parts as needed - Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions - Maintain a clean and organized work area *Skills:* - Strong automotive repair skills and experience - Mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required - Experience working in a dealership or automotive repair shop is preferred - Proficient in using tools and equipment necessary for automotive repairs - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Dental care Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: * Cornwall, ON K6J 5X9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * automotive technician: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Driver's License (preferred) * Journeyman (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationCornwall, ON
