Our team of Supply Chain and Logistics experts speaks your language and operates in your world.</p><p>I am currently recruiting a Warehouse Team Leader for one of my clients, a manufacturing company in the field of electric transport located in Drummondville. <br> <br>Job description: <br> <br>- Responsible for supplying assembly cells with parts to ensure smooth operations (deadlines, quantities & the right part at the right station); <br>- Manage production and storage scrap (waste, recycling, metal and wood); <br>- Ensure preventive maintenance of inter-plant feeder carts; <br>- Maintain and update warehouse merchandise location as required; <br>- Perform shipping and receiving functions; <br>- In collaboration with the warehouse clerk, handle goods using a forklift; <br>- Verify merchandise and quantities received according to delivery slips; <br>- Receive merchandise into the system; <br>- Maintain and manage the physical inventory; <br>- Participate in cycle counts; <br>- Prepare and ship parts for after-sales service (next-day shipments); <br>- Follow-up with purchasing department for warranty returns; <br>- Ensure proper housekeeping; <br>- Supervise and mentor warehouse clerks and ensure compliance with safe working practices.</p><p>Skills required: <br> <br>- DES or other relevant degree <br>- Experience in a similar position <br>- Minimum 3 years experience in forklift driving <br>- Knowledge of ERP and inventory systems <br>- Good physical capacity (lift loads of 35-50 lbs) <br>- Demonstrate initiative, thoroughness and attention to detail <br>- Excellent organizational skills</p>- LocationDrummondville, QC
