Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: General manufacturing. Mining Industry. Tasks: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables. Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances. Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools. Measuring tools: Micrometers. Verniers. Equipment and machinery experience: Broaching machine. Drill presses. Engine lathes. Gear cutting machine. Honing machines. Milling machines. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Security and safety: Bondable. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines. Standing for extended periods. Attention to detail.
