Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Alarm Technician to join our team. As an Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing alarm systems in residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities - Install, test, and maintain security systems, including alarm panels, devices, and cameras. - Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with alarm systems, and perform repairs as necessary. - Communicate with customers to determine their security needs and provide recommendations for system upgrades or modifications. - Telecommunicate with dispatch and management teams to report system malfunctions and to coordinate service calls. - Maintain accurate records of system installations, repairs, and maintenance. - Collaborate with other technicians and management personnel to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the alarm systems. Experience - Prior experience in alarm system installation, maintenance, and repair is an asset - Experience with CCTV surveillance systems - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Skills - Wiring experience - Low voltage systems - CCTV surveillance systems - Hand & power tools Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $17.20 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Company car * Dental care * Disability insurance * Life insurance Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * On call * Overtime * Weekends as needed Experience: * alarm technician: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Driving Licence (required) Work Location: In person- LocationTecumseh, ON
