*Job Summary*
A-1 Paul?s Trailer Repair is a full-service repair facility for the commercial transport industry, we repair and rebuild commercial semi-trailers. We are seeking a knowledgeable Parts Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in parts sourcing and organization, preferably you will have experience working in the commercial transport industry or be very familiar with heavy duty parts. Your primary role is to support our Transport Technicians by accurately identifying, locating and supplying parts for the vehicles we have in the shop for repairs, this includes body components, panels, rails, roofs etc. as well as mechanical parts. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, being able to multi-task and a strong knowledge of heavy-duty parts and inventory management processes.
· Earn a competitive wage $27.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience

*Key Responsibilities:*
· Accurately identify and locate parts for repairs and maintenance, placing orders as needed.
· Collaborate with mechanics and service advisors to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs.
· Receive and verify incoming parts shipments, maintaining organized inventory storage.
· Assist customers with parts inquiries, providing information on availability, pricing, and ordering processes.
· Process parts sales transactions accurately, including invoicing and payment collection.
· Develop a strong understanding of heavy-duty trailer & truck components to effectively identify parts.
· Maintain an organized parts inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and up to date.
· Maintain accurate records of parts transactions and inventory levels, tracking usage trends and informing purchasing decisions.
· Handle returns and exchanges.
· Stay informed about new products, promotions, and industry trends to effectively assist customers.
*Qualifications:*
· Previous experience in a repair environment is preferred.
· Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of heavy-duty parts and components, with the ability to accurately identify and cross reference part numbers.
· Computer proficiency in software applications for parts inventory management ? we use Protractor Shop Manager software
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing inventory.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
