Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Musical instrument fabrication and repair. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Construct instruments. Test and adjust units to specifications. Ensure products and work methods maximize safety, productivity and comfort. Ensure proper functioning of equipment. Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards. Musical instruments: Viola. Violin. Cello. Area of specialization: Wood carving. Stringed musical instruments. Varnishes. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Personal suitability: Accurate. Efficient interpersonal skills. Reliability. Organized. Collaborative.
