*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a focus on commercial cleaning standards. *Responsibilities* * Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces. * Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas to maintain hygiene standards. * Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste materials. * Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, and fixtures as needed. * Monitor cleaning supplies inventory and report when reordering is necessary. * Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment. * Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies as they arise. *Requirements* * Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required. * Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Good physical stamina; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. * Familiarity with cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals used in commercial settings is a plus. * Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
