DescriptionUniversity degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Architecture or a related discipline 2 years of experience directly related to development or land use planning Assets: Architectural design experience would be an asset Membership with the Canadian Institute of Planners or Alberta Development Officers Association is an asset Skills required for success: Knowledge of the Edmonton Zoning Bylaw, statutory regulations, Municipal Government Act, Area Structure Plans, Neighbourhood Structure Plans, Area Redevelopment Plan and policies as it relates to development planning Demonstrate ability to make sound and valid decisions on the development proposals and permitting processes and issues Sound understanding of the project management process in the development review process for permit applications Demonstrate ability to manage multiple development projects and other assigned work effectively- LocationEdmonton, AB
