Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Hay farming. Sheep farming. Work setting: Room and board provided. Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Clear fields of wood and stones. Diagnose livestock health issues. Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses. Handling animals. Marking livestock as proof of ownership. Monitoring animal health. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Perform animal grooming activities . Perform livestock feeding. Shear the sheep. Treat livestock health issues. Feed and tend animals. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Perform general farm duties. Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Hand-eye co-ordination.
