*Job Summary*
Working from our Edmonton Logistics Center located at 6474 Roper Road, in Edmonton and reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, the Logistics Manager will be highly organized, and be proactive in overseeing material coordination, inventory management, continuous improvement, and process development. The ideal candidate shall be responsible for ensuring efficient cycle count management, drive process development, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Supply Chain organization.
*Duties and responsibilities:*
* Oversee material management as related to various client projects.
* Identify and implement opportunities to enhance Supply Chain process that aid in driving performance and KPI management.
* Utilize data to monitor supply chain performance and identify waste.
* Stewardship over annual cycle counts across Supply Chain sites.
* Collaborate on designing / improving warehouse layouts and flow of materials.
* Occasional travel to other sites may be required.
*Qualifications:*
* 2-3 years of supervisory or management experience in a related role is preferred.
* Experience with client relations and collaborating with the client.
* Proficiency with computer systems (i.e., Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, SAP, and PowerBI).
* Working knowledge of Supply Chain methodology (i.e., 5S, Lean, Waste Elimination).
* Experience with material handling equipment (i.e., reach truck, forklift, overhead crane).
* Knowledge of mine and plant equipment in the oil and gas industry an asset.
* Bachelor?s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
* Leadership capabilities to direct, communicate and plan daily activities.
* Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
