* *Greeting and Assisting Guests*: Welcoming customers as they arrive and assisting them throughout their visit, from seating to answering menu questions. * *Taking Orders*: Accurately recording customers? orders and relaying them to the kitchen staff for preparation. * *Serving Food and Drinks*: Promptly delivering food and drinks to customers and ensuring that everything arrives as ordered. * *Checking on Guests*: Regularly checking in with customers to make sure they are satisfied with their meals, and addressing any concerns or requests. * *Maintaining Cleanliness*: Keeping the dining area clean, organized, and inviting, including wiping tables and arranging seating. * *Problem-Solving*: Addressing any issues that arise, such as wrong orders or special requests, with a positive and polite attitude. Key Qualities and Skills: * *Fast-Paced Experience*: Able to thrive in a busy, high-energy environment. * *Passion for Guest Service*: A genuine dedication to making guests feel welcome and satisfied. * *Food Safety Knowledge*: Understanding safe food handling and preparation practices to maintain quality and health standards. * *Politeness and Attention to Detail*: Ensuring politeness and precision, from taking accurate orders to ensuring cleanliness and accuracy in service. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $16.55 per hour Expected hours: 24 ? 32 per week Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * On call * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationThunder Bay, ON
