*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various machining tools and equipment, and will be responsible for producing precision parts and components. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of machining processes, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. *Responsibilities* * Operate CNC machines, including programming and setting up for production runs. * Utilize milling machines and other hand tools to fabricate parts according to specifications. * Conduct quality checks on finished products using calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy. * Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise. * Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency. * Safely operate forklifts for material handling as needed. * Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. *Skills* * Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations. * Experience with CNC programming and operation, particularly with Mazatrol systems. * Familiarity with various hand tools used in machining processes. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. * Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on quality control in machining operations. * Experience operating milling machines is highly desirable. * Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
