We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and custodial services, with experience in industrial cleaning. *Responsibilities*
* Manage daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
* Supervise and train housekeeping staff, providing guidance on best practices in cleaning and maintenance.
* Develop and implement cleaning schedules that optimize efficiency while maintaining quality.
* Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
* Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules around events and occupancy levels.
* Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and in good working order.
* Address any guest concerns or complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in a housekeeping management role, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry.
* Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial best practices.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
* Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and guests.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations.
