*Job Title: *Seasonal Part-time Sales Associate *Wage: *$19.00 per hour plus product discounts *Job description:*. Are you looking for work that will fit around your shredding time? Do you have good knowledge of the products we sell and retail experience? We?d like to hear from you! We are looking for staff to join our team this winter on a part-time basis. We need someone who has great customer service skills, can work well as a team, has sales and cash handling/POS experience and shows flexibility. The position entails serving customers, operating the point of sale, keeping the store neat and tidy, handling stock and other tasks as assigned by the owner and senior sales person. *Hours:* Hours will be 20 hours per week, possibly more during the busier weeks. You must be available to work on sale event days & holidays, typically Moonlight Madness (Nov 29th) & Boxing Day (Dec 26th) as well as over the Christmas/New Year period. Shifts will be a mix of weekdays, weekends with a mixture of morning/afternoon/day shifts. Other hours may be required at mutually agreeable shifts. Commitment to the end of March 2025 required. *Education:* High School Graduate *Skills/Experience*: Experience selling in a retail store is a must, preferably in an outdoor pursuits/snowboard or ski store. Previous cash handling/point of sale experience. Excellent customer service skills. Ideally, solid knowledge of some or most of the products we sell, especially snowboards & backcountry/avalanche safety gear & outdoor clothing. French speaking would be considered an asset but is not required.
