*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forman to lead our construction projects with a focus on quality, efficiency, and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills and be adept at utilizing construction management software to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. As a Forman, you will be responsible for overseeing the work of crew members, coordinating project activities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. *Duties* * Supervise and manage construction teams to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications. * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide team activities effectively. * Utilize Bluebeam and other construction management software for project planning, documentation, and communication. * Conduct construction estimating to assess project costs and resource requirements accurately. * Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards throughout the construction process. * Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets and ensure financial accountability on-site. * Train and mentor team members in best practices for safety, quality, and efficiency in construction tasks. * Monitor progress on-site, addressing any issues that arise promptly to keep projects on track. *Experience* * Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry is essential. * Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating is required. * Familiarity with quality control processes and standards in construction is highly desirable. * Experience using ProCore or similar construction management software is preferred. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills to effectively lead teams and liaise with stakeholders.
