The base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.As a candidate, you are encouraged to ask compensation related questions and have an open dialogue with your recruiter who can provide you more specific details for this role.Job Description:KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESCUSTOMEREnsure all credit decisions (approval / decline) within assigned limits are fulfilled on a broad range of credit products efficiently and effectively, meeting service level agreements (SLAs)Provide credit support / solutions / recommendations / advice / alternative options when evaluating/analyzing credit applications for decisions in accordance with Bank policies and procedures Ensure customer concerns / issues are handled appropriately and resolved in a timely manner, escalate when requiredPositively contribute to the overall customer experience and foster good relationships with internal and external partnersContribute to the ongoing improvement of the customer experience within the Business AreaCreate and/or recognize exceptional customer service through established programsSHAREHOLDERPrioritize and manage own daily workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivityConsistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where requiredMake well rationalized credit decisions within established standards and limits and adjudicate within compliance guidelineContribute to the achievement of satisfactory audits by understanding & following audit and process guidelinesEnsure credit underwriting / adjudication is completed accurately and properly to reflect business intentions and is consistent with relevant rules / regulations Be knowledgeable of practices and procedures within own area of responsibility and keep abreast of emerging credit underwriting / adjudication trendsProtect the interests of the organization ? identify and manage risks, and escalate non-standard, high risk activities as necessaryAcquire, maintain and apply Credit and Risk expertise in the discipline of lending, provide guidance, assistance and direction to othersKeep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impactsMaintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetitePerform due diligence in support of all credit applicationsEMPLOYEE / TEAMParticipate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interestSupport the team by continuously enhancing knowledge / expertise in own area and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unitKeep current on emerging trends/ developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools and techniquesParticipate in personal performance management and development activities, including cross training within own teamKeep others informed and up-to-date about the status / progress of projects and / or all relevant or useful information related to day-to-day activitiesContribute to the success of the team by willingly assisting others in the completion and performance of work activities; provide training, coaching and/or guidance as appropriate.Contribute to a fair, positive and equitable environment that sup
