The Pincher Creek Co-op is currently accepting applications for a Yard Clerk to join our team. This is a Temporary Part-Time position, and required to start as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Farm & Home Manager. The details of the responsibilities are as follows: *RESPONSIBILITIES:* 1. Keep yard and warehouse organized with easy access to products through housekeeping 2. Provide information, assistance and excellent service to members and customers 3. Look after customers and contractors and help find products, load/unload vehicles 4. Ensure that all products leaving the yard has been invoiced and avoid damage in the yard 5. Maintain constant alert against the unauthorized removal of merchandise 6. Demonstrate positive approach to the job and promote positive image of the Co-op 7. Operate forklift with the required certifications & training; attend weekly safety meeting 8. Assist Head Yard Clerk with ordering and maintaining inventory and follow directions 9. Other duties as assigned *REQUIREMENTS:* * Grade 12 Diploma * Knowledgeable about feed and lumber * Experience loading and unloading products using forklift * Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment * Must have valid driver?s license. Class 3 would be an asset * Willing to learn and advance in the Co-op * Take directions from supervisors and willing to work in adverse weather condition * Build positive relationships with Contractors, Customers and Co-workers * Clean, Neat Appearance * Excellent customer service skills _\*A COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE MAY BE CONSIDERED._ Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.76-$19.95 per hour Expected hours: 24 ? 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Company events * On-site parking * Paid time off Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-11-04- LocationPincher Creek, AB
