As a senior professional subject matter expert, the Manager of Corporate Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) is accountable for leading and contributing to the ongoing development, implementation, coordination and administration of the CRD?s Occupational Health and Safety programs, as well as our comprehensive People, Safety & Culture Strategic Plan actions and initiatives. As a key role within the organization and on our team, you bring an exceptional understanding of and experience in OHS including those related to operational and capital programs, as well as exceptional skills and experience working collaboratively with, guiding and empowering a dedicated team of staff both within the field and outside of it. This position oversees a team of other safety professionals, and reports to the Senior Manager of People, Safety & Culture. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have a Degree in a related field and significant relevant professional OHS experience, preferably in a unionized environment. A Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation, or eligibility, is required. A full detail of requirements is posted in the description on the CRD website. Current salary for this position is $138,213 to 162,603 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
